26th International Symposium on Ballistics

The next Symposium of the series will be organized on 12–16 September 2011 in Miami, FL., USA, by the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), under the auspices of the International Ballistics Society (www.ballistics.org) and the International Ballistics Committee. More information can be found at NDIA's website (wewww.ndia.org/meetings/1210).

There will be two ways of publishing the papers, either as refereed scientific articles in this Journal, or as unrefereed shorter papers in the Symposium Proceedings. Papers published by the JAM will appear as extended abstracts in the Proceedings. There will be a limited number of papers accepted for the JAM.

The deadline for all abstracts for the Symposium and for Symposium papers to be submitted to this Journal will be 26 November 2010. Also if you submit a manuscript to the Journal of Applied Mechanics you must send in an abstract to the NDIA, mentioning that you have submitted your paper to the JAM.

Any questions on the submission and publishing of refereed papers from the 26th International Symposium on Ballistics in this Journal can be sent to the Guest Editor, Professor Bo Janzon, jam@secrab.eu.
