A General Solution for the Elastic Quarter Space

The algorithmic procedure used by the author previously in the solution for the elastic quarter plane is extended in this paper for the elastic quarter space. Values of the stress components were evaluated on the top and side surfaces of the quarter space for four values of Poisson’s ratio μ = 1/2, 1/3, 1/6, and 0.
