The apparatus is a gyroscope in which the rotor consists of a circulating stream of water contained in four loops of transparent plastic tubing, 1 in. ID. The circulation is maintained by a d-c centrifugal pump and motor as a single unit, the speed of which is variable. It exhibits all the qualitative characteristics of a regular gyroscope. A description of the apparatus, its performance, and operating data are included.
